Mangaldas ni Haveli II is a 150 year old haveli, or mansion, refurbished into a heritage boutique hotel. Located in the old quarters, the hotel is in the very heart of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Ahmedabad.

We were commisioned to create artwork for all rooms and suites in the hotel. The concept of the artwork was centred around Pol architecture (traditional cluster housing in the old city) and the various animals that occupy an integral space in these pols.

The outcome was a series of themed rooms based on particular pol animals - cows, donkeys, monkeys, parrots, goats and dogs.
